The health and safety of our conference-bound members, advisors and staff are our highest priority. Over the last couple of weeks, the Executive Council has been monitoring advisories from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as the World Health Organization. And more recently we have heard from many of our student members and advisors concerning university travel restrictions in the wake of COVID-19. As such, and after considerable deliberation, the Executive Council has made the decision to cancel its annual conference in San Antonio, scheduled for March 25-27, 2020. In the coming days, we will push out additional information about the cancellation, but for now we ask that you please cancel hotel reservation and arrange to cancel/change airfare. For your reference, our next conference is scheduled for Orlando, Florida, April 14-16, 2021.
For those of you who submitted scholarship and award applications, please know that they have been judged and we will make an announcement about winners and disburse funds in the coming weeks.
Chapters that applied for Theme of the Year, Yearbook, Goal Awards, and T-shirt Competition may submit their presentation(s) and t-shirts prior to the March 27 deadline for judging. An email has been sent to each chapter with additional information.
